# Introduction

ScrollQuest turns quests into real items. Players receive paper scrolls with randomized missions, watch their progress update live on the ActionBar, and right-click the scroll to claim rewards. No menus, no GUIs, just an item in the inventory.

## What it does

{% tab title="For players" %}

* Get a scroll, read the mission on the item tooltip.
* Do the objective (walk, mine, fish, farm, fight, and more).
* Track progress on the ActionBar in real time.
* Right-click the finished scroll to claim money, XP, or item rewards.
  {% endtab %}

{% tab title="For server owners" %}

* Drop in the jar, three config files generate themselves.
* 53 ready-made missions across 5 rarity tiers, all editable.
* Hand out quests by command, or wire them into crates, shops, and events.
* Localize every line of text, add resource-pack textures, expose stats through PlaceholderAPI.
  {% endtab %}
  {% endtabs %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://zarrowtan-resources.gitbook.io/scrollquest/getting-started/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
