# Installation

Follow these steps to install the Dragon's Escape Setup on your server:

### Step 1: Download

Download the setup from the [resource page](https://builtbybit.com/resources/dragons-escape-setup-modern-minigame.75625/).

### Step 2: Extract

Unarchive the downloaded file to your computer.

### Step 3: Prepare Files

Open the **"SETUP FILES"** folder from the extracted content.

### Step 4: Archive

Archive (zip) the contents inside the "SETUP FILES" folder.

### Step 5: Upload & Extract

Upload the archived file to your online server host's home/root directory and unarchive it.

### Step 6: Install Required Plugins

Download and install the following plugins:

* **Dragons Plugin** (Premium, Required)

  * [Download from BuiltByBit](https://builtbybit.com/resources/dragons-dragon-escape.47330/?ref=266894) - Use coupon **137457-DDE15ST** for 15% OFF
* **TAB** (Free, Required)
  * [Download](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/tab-1-5-1-21-8.57806/)

Place them in the `plugins/` folder.

⚠️ **Important:** Please install all dependencies before running the setup to avoid errors.

### Step 7: Start Server

Start the server with **Java 21** on **Paper 1.21.8** or a compatible fork.

Once the server is running, proceed with the Configuration Guide.
